HerpFest
HerpFest began as a collaboration of the Jacksonville State University Biology Department and Anniston Museum of Natural History. Herpetology is the study of reptiles and amphibians and has long been a favorite of the museum. Join us as we recognize all our scaly and slimy friends! Scared of snakes? Attend the festival to get a better understanding of these animals and how beneficial they are to our ecosystem! More of a salamander, turtle, or frog fan? Do not worry; we will have a variety of critters for all to see. HerpFest 2018 features educational displays and live animals presented by Jacksonville State University, JSU Field Schools from Little River Canyon Center, the Alabama Herpetological Society, Noccalula Falls, and Anniston Museum! HerpFest is free with paid admission. Admission receipt is ticket to HerpFest. Deano’s Grill will be ON SITE with lunch available for purchase!
