About Us

Telephone Communications Inc (TCI) began as a telephone interconnect company with humble beginnings in 1979. Kenneth Bice, TCI's Founder, had a dream of having his own company and providing top quality telephone equipment and service to businesses. In March of 2022, Mr. Bice retired, and two of his daughters, Julie Russell and Tamara Reaves, retained ownership. Barry Russell, husband to Julie Russell and son-in-law to Mr. Bice, is the President and has been employed with TCI in various roles for over 30 years.

Today, TCI is a managed technology service provider, which maintains a high level of commitment to service. TCI is the leading state licensed low-voltage general contractor in Northeast Alabama. We provide solutions and managed services in the telecom, security, and IT services industries. We have extensive experience in local governmental and non-governmental projects and have completed several small to large projects with a high degree of customer satisfaction.
